We may collect this information through LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, forms on the Website, LinkedIn campaign interactions and other campaign activities.

Usage and Campaign Engagement Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. It may include information such as Your Device’s Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Campaign engagement data may include the campaign or form through which You came to Us, whether You viewed or submitted a form, interactions with Our advertisements or Website, downloads, email delivery information and email opens or clicks. Where provided by the relevant platform, it may also include information about Your LinkedIn campaign interactions and consent preferences.

When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser You use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Campaigns, Report Requests and Marketing

We may run campaigns using LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, forms on the Website or other platforms. When You submit a form, the form will explain how Your details will be used and will link to this Privacy Policy. The choices described below are kept separate:

•  Report delivery. We may use the details You provide to send the report, resource or download link You requested. Requesting a report does not, by itself, subscribe You to future marketing emails.

•  Future email marketing. If You provide a separate marketing opt-in, We may send You occasional emails about relevant Together for the Ocean reports, events, campaigns and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email or by contacting Us.

•  Retargeting and audience matching. If You provide a separate retargeting consent, We may use Your contact details and campaign interactions to create matched, similar or lookalike audiences on LinkedIn and show You relevant Together for the Ocean advertising. This may involve uploading hashed contact details to LinkedIn. We may also retarget Website visitors using LinkedIn Insight Tag, pixels or cookies, where permitted by law and subject to the choices available through Our consent mechanism.

•  Campaign measurement. We may use campaign, Website and email engagement data to understand reach and performance, improve Our campaigns and report on their effectiveness.

The LinkedIn form will present separate choices for future email marketing and retargeting where those activities are available. You can withdraw either choice at any time; withdrawing one does not automatically withdraw the other.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

•  To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.

•  To fulfil resource and report requests, including sending a requested report or download link.

•  To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service.

•  To communicate with You: to send requested resources and, where You have separately opted in, future email communications about relevant reports, events, campaigns and updates.

•  To measure and improve campaigns: to understand campaign performance, email delivery and engagement, Website use and the effectiveness of Our promotional activities.

LinkedIn and Mailchimp

LinkedIn. LinkedIn may collect and initially store data submitted through a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form. We may receive relevant form data and campaign engagement information from LinkedIn. Where You have given the relevant separate consent, We may also provide hashed contact details or other permitted identifiers to LinkedIn to create matched or similar audiences and measure or deliver relevant advertising.

Mailchimp. We may transfer relevant data from LinkedIn or the Website to Mailchimp to send a requested report or download link and to manage email communications. Depending on how You interact with Us, Mailchimp may store Your contact details, marketing preferences, delivery information and email engagement data. Mailchimp processes data internationally, including in the United States and other locations, subject to applicable safeguards. We use separate statuses or audiences for people who have requested a report and people who have opted in to future marketing. A report requester will not be added to future marketing campaigns unless they have provided the separate marketing opt-in. Retargeting consent is recorded separately from email marketing consent.

Sharing Your Personal Data

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

•  With Service Providers: We may share Your personal information with Service Providers, including Mailchimp and providers supporting Website hosting, analytics, campaign measurement, communications and privacy-request administration.

•  With LinkedIn: where relevant and where You have provided the separate retargeting consent or another lawful permission, We may provide hashed contact details and campaign interaction information to LinkedIn for matched or similar audiences and related measurement.

•  For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of Our business.

•  With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.

•  With Your consent: We may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose with Your consent.

Retention of Your Personal Data

We may retain campaign and contact information indefinitely where required for ongoing communications, campaign administration, reporting, suppression, compliance or other purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Individuals may request deletion or withdraw from marketing or retargeting at any time. We may retain limited information where necessary to ensure that marketing preferences and opt-outs continue to be respected.

We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies. Usage Data may be retained for internal analysis, security and service improvement, or where We are legally obligated to retain it for longer.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. Mailchimp processes data internationally, including in the United States and other locations. The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and that transfers take place only where appropriate controls are in place.

Your Privacy Rights and Suppression Requests

Subject to applicable law, You may ask Us to access, correct, update or delete Your Personal Data. You may also:

•  Unsubscribe from Mailchimp emails using the unsubscribe link in each email.

•  Withdraw Your email-marketing consent or retargeting consent at any time.

•  Ask for Your data to be removed from LinkedIn advertising audiences and Mailchimp.

•  Object to direct marketing.

To make a request, use the contact details below. We will coordinate appropriate deletion or suppression across LinkedIn, Mailchimp and any agency-held copies. We may retain limited suppression information where necessary to make sure that Your opt-out continues to be respected.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Business Transactions

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Law enforcement
